Design criteria for Accessible On-Street Parking. Plan view showing dimensions and notes. Features include a parallel parking space with an access aisle that runs parallel to the on-street parking space along the roadway side then turns to the left at the top of the parking space to return to the sidewalk. The aisle ends at a curb ramp. A regulatory sign is provided on the sidewalk and the international symbol of accessibility is painted on the parking surface to identify the space is for persons with disabilities.
